Anthony Richardson Completed Exactly 1 Pre-Season Drive Before Getting Run Over By a Truck and Snapping His Finger in Half

Part of me thought coming into the pre-season that the best way for the Colts to decide their starting QB position was to simply have Anthony Richardson every quarter of every pre-season game. I think we all pretty much know exactly what Daniel Jones brings to the table. But if Anthony Richardson can last an ENTIRE pre-season without getting injured, and shows any sort of improvement, then let him take the reigns for the start of the season.

He lasted exactly half of a quarter...

Until his right pinky finger (throwing hand) was at a right angle…

What's make it even worse is that had Anthony Richardson thought at all to look to his right, he would should have seen his running back wide open in the flat. Not the easiest dump off in the world with a defender flying in your face. But it's a dump off a good quarterback who can pick up a blitz should be able to execute.

Anthony Richardson is going to set a record for 'number of body parts injuries' to 'time spent in football' ratio. Shoulder, hip, leg, brain, finger, being tired. He's had them all. I mean look at this shit. Shoutout Draft Sharks for the breakdown. Except I'm not sure about how they define "low risk"

That's enough Colts pre-season football for me this year. I refuse to get my hopes either up or down for Daniel Jones until the regular season starts. I'll see you guys Week 1.
