New Jersey Surfer Gives Best Possible Reason For Wiping Out During A Hurricane

Hurricane Erin made its way up the east coast last week, and it produced some of the best swells that New Jersey has seen in years. If you had the stones to go out there, you were looking at a chance of catching some 10-12 footers. There were plenty of great waves out there, but that also means there was going to be a ton of carnage. And our guy above may have taken it the worst.

Just a straight drop right as the wave was breaking. One of those wipeouts where you're not totally sure you're going to see him pop back up to the top of the water. But it turns out that this fella actually didn't choose to go into that death trap. His best friend ended up choosing it for him.

"Friend says go, you gotta go. No choice".

And that, my friends, is why there is nothing better in this world than being a dude. Girls aren't out there playing "Go". Even most ordinary guys aren't out there playing "Go". Only dudes would develop a game over 20+ years that hinges upon putting your best friend's health in jeopardy. And it takes a truly special one like Tim here to remain undefeated throughout all those years.

It doesn't get any better than that. Probably somewhere around 30 years old. A hurricane swell comes rolling through. You get out on the water with your best friend, get told to go, don't even think twice about it, get obliterated, get back out there still keeping your lifetime "go" streak alive. What a legend.
