CeeDee Lamb Is A Huge Eagles Fan, Says He's Excited To Watch The Super Bowl Banner Raising Ceremony

The 2025 NFL season kicks off tomorrow night when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys. It's going to be mayhem in South Philadelphia with hundreds of thousands of Eagles fans making the pilgrimage to the Sports Complex. And apparently you can add CeeDee Lamb into the mix there. Because before the season actually gets underway, the Eagles will be taking a few minutes to celebrate winning Super Bowl LIX. The Eagles have already repeatedly said that they won't actually be out there watching the banner raising ceremony because they've already turned the page to this upcoming season. But CeeDee Lamb seems excited to enjoy the festivities.

Sure, it's a quick clip. I understand CeeDee didn't have time to make sure he chose all the right words to say here. But he shouts out the Eagles, says he still has brothers over here, and then mentions that it's a goal of his to win a Super Bowl as well. At no point does he specify trying to win that Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys. He just wants to win a Super Bowl in general. It could be with anybody. And it sure as heck seems like CeeDee Lamb would be a fan of playing in Philadelphia. Shit, he already mentioned this past February about how the fans are more passionate in Philly than they are in Dallas.

CeeDee says he's using the banner raising ceremony as "motivation". But maybe that's just motivation to find himself on the Eagles roster at some point in his career. He's an incredible receiver who deserves to play for a functional franchise at some point before he hangs up the cleats for good. And hopefully he can take some notes during the ceremony to tell the Eagles players how it went. Because again, they won't even be out on the field for that.

Howie Roseman will be close enough to Jerry Jones on Thursday night to work a little Howie Magic and swindle his senile ass. John Metchie III and a 2nd round pick for CeeDee Lamb. Let's make his dream come true.

P.S. -- The fact that transportation is going to be such a nightmare tomorrow night that the Eagles have to ask fans without a ticket to not come down to the lots to tailgate is wild. SEPTA has about 32 hours to get their shit in order and figure it the fuck out.
