'Keep Your Old Ass With The Bills' - Matt Prater's New Teammates Thought He Was A Coach, Shocked He Was A Player And Now Want Him Around Forever

We saw the game-winner last night 

Throw in the fact that Matt Prater flew in on the red eye on Thursday to Buffalo to fill in for an injured Tyler Bass and this all makes sense. It’s why we all when ‘the fuck is Matt Prater doing out there’ last night. Still think they should have just let Ray Davis kick for them. 

That would have been even cooler for one of the most batshit crazy games we’ve had since that Rams/Chiefs game. Big time plays all over the place and the game came down to a 41-year old kicker. It’s the one thing that always throws me off with kickers and punters too. They don’t ever need to retire. They just rotate teams, go out there and boot the ball. Most kickers play for like 7 teams, it’s kind of an awesome gig. Matt Prater has made $42 million in his career. Not bad!

It does have to be weird to be a kicker though. You are a football player, you don’t get treated like a football player though. You hear all the jokes about kickers not practicing or getting hit. But then the game is on the line and you have a kicker running out there to do his one job. Justice for kickers is basically what I’m trying to say here. 

All I know is the Bills players love him. Sorry Tyler Bass, you had a good run. It’s Matt Prater time.
