Slight Problem For An NFL Head Coach: Brian Callahan Didn't Challenge A Play Because Has No Idea What The Rule Is For A Catch

I know this isn’t technically all on Brian Callahan but the man is the head coach and gave the explanation. He’s the one who said you need a foot with an elbow which is just wrong. That seems to be like a slight problem for an NFL head coach. Me and you don’t necessarily need to know the rule book through and through, but I guarantee most of us knew this rule.

This also just sums up the Titans. They are a franchise that’s just kind of there to me. They had their moments, delivered one of the best Super Bowls we had, but mostly they are there. They are designed to play Thursday Night Football and win the AFC South with like 9 wins. That said they probably should have beat the Broncos yesterday. Bo Nix tried handing them the game. And with a big play while down 13-12 you have a coach out here explaining that he doesn't know the rule of a catch. I get it, to a degree, no one knows what a catch is. Refs make up what's a catch all the time going back for nearly a decade now. I mean, we do have this:

And the whole Dez Caught it fiasco. But again, just challenge. Or where is the assisted replay to come in and take care of this? Feels pretty easy, but I assume every Titans fan is basically Cam Ward's dad here.
