Brian Daboll Announced Russ Wilson Is Still The Starting QB, Has To Be Lying When He Says There's 'Confidence In Russ'

For basically the last 24 hours every person was screaming for Russ to get benched. He isn't a good quarterback anymore. He can throw the moon ball, but that doesn't help right now. What helps is 1) Andrew Thomas and 2) having a quarterback that can actually make plays. But the real takeaway. Brian Daboll is clearly lying when it comes to saying he has confidence in Russ. There's no confidence, it's just the schedule.

Cowboys, Chiefs and Chargers. Not exactly the first three games you want your rookie quarterback to start against. You know who you want? The Saints. Give me the Jaxson Dart vs Spencer Rattler battle that will have every person watching it. It's not confidence in Russ, it's a lack of confidence in the offensive line. We don't need to hide the truth, anyone with a brain knows what's going on here.

I still have hope for the future, simply because Jaxson Dart hasn't played yet and Abdul Carter is going to be good. It's not apathy anymore, so I can be pissed at this team if Dart isn't playing around week 5 unless we're 3-1. All I'm saying is Daboll is clearly lying about having confidence in Russ. No one has confidence in Russ.
