Big Cat's Official Season Prediction For The Bears In 2025
That's it. 7-10. Out of the playoffs again. I was feeling pretty good after talking to Tom Waddle last week and now...the opposite. The roller coaster continues and the Bears haven't played a game yet. It's amazing what a hit piece, a few whispers, and the Packers looking like the best team in the league will do to my psyche.
I want to be positive. Maybe tonight will change that if Caleb and the offense looks good, the Bears get a win, and there's hope that Edwards, Gordon, and Jaylon Johnson will be 100% sooner rather than later. As things stand though it's impossible to look at that schedule and still be optimistic. The Bears might be in for a long slog if they do lose 6 out of 7 in the middle of the season. It's insane that tonight feels like a big game. If they lose to a rookie QB at home then you kind of start staring down the gauntlet and looking for a handful of wins.
Best case scenario is that Ben Johnson is good enough to help Caleb get the ball out where it needs to go. There's plenty of weapons. Eddie was saying this is going to be a rock fight tonight. The longer I think about it the more I think the Bears are going to need to score tonight. With all the injuries and the questions on the defensive the strength of the team has to be the offense. If it isn't that is a bad sign. Having said all of that. I am excited to watch tonight. I have ZERO clue how it's going to go. I am blind faith betting the Bears and just going to take it a week at a time. If I look too far into the future I can't help but spiral. One win. Then we go. Bear down.
