Taylor Frankie Paul, of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Is Here To Save The Bachelor Franchise

I thought all hope was lost for the Bachelor Franchise. After multiple seasons of uninteresting garbage and worse people, I had packed it up. Long gone were the days of Chris Harrison and real drama. Long live the occasional few who were “there for the right reasons,” and the true villains who didn’t give a fuck about America’s thoughts and feelings. RIP The Bachelor, I knew ye when.

That is, until today.

For those unfamiliar, Taylor Frankie Paul is a cast member on The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives. I’d actually credit her with the entire (A+, perfect reality tv) series, as she was the one who started airing out their friend group drama on TikTok. “Momtok,” swinging, Mormons who are sexually repressed enough to stay married to people they hate - absolute gold. Taylor is a star. Drama follows her wherever she goes, whether it be her drug addict baby daddy, her toxic mother or the other jealous Mormon Wives, she’s always at the center of controversy. She’s had nothing but bad luck with men, and in life it seems….so, what do we do? Bring back the previously cancelled Bachelorette season, have 30ish men compete for her love on a different show, but same network!!

Round of applause for ABC. They’re finally taking a risk, and it’s going to pay off. Taylor has never been a part of the franchise before and that’s what they need. We don’t need to keep forcing the people that nobody cares about, we need change. Not different camera styles and ABC’s version of Love Island (looking at you this season, Paradise) - we need new blood.

Congrats to Taylor on this HUGE win. I know for a fact you won’t let us down.
