You Can Only Live and Travel in One Region of the United States Forever, Which One Are You Picking?
Now THIS is a perfect X post for a Friday afternoon, folks. Only a few more hours until we can revel in a couple mediocre slates of football, but this will have to do for now.
The only problem with this map is that it left one region that is so clearly above the rest that it almost renders the exercise moot. D gives you beaches, mountains, several major cities, an income tax-free state, arguably the most beautiful area of the country — East Tennessee and Western North Carolina — and Disney World. With all due respect to the rest of this nation, D clears the next-best region by a country mile.
Now, you could make a reasonable case for H if you're a very outdoorsy person or C if you're really into shitty houses that cost $1.8 million, but they're still not giving you anything close to D. The only other one that's a little interesting is F, where you can take your pick of Texas city for residence and then enjoy an annual vacation to Hawaii. Not a bad gig. I'd like to speak with any nutjob that is crazy enough to pick G, though.
Overall, however, this map is an open and shut case. The complete rankings are as follows:
1. D
2. H
3. F
4. E
5. F
6. C
7. A
8. G
