"Oh Hell Nah" - Marshawn Lynch Taking Batting Practice With Randy Johnson Watching Went Exactly How You'd Expect
Is there anyone out there having more fun than Marshawn Lynch? All he does is show up to the most random places like NFL sidelines, boxing matches or baseball fields and decides and have an absolute blast everywhere. He popped up in Arizona to take BP with the Diamondbacks for a feature that will be shown during Thursday Night Football and to be honest, he wasn't the worst we've ever seen! He took hit after hit for years and years, so a little fastball wasn't gonna slow him that much. That first pitch did seem to scare the hell out of him before he even got in there, but like on the football field he didn't back down at all and went right at it. Tried to lay down a few bunts to get used to it and didn't look awful while doing it, got some solid wood there.
He just has fun everywhere he goes, he's truly a "glass half full" guy. Who else is cracking jokes while in the batting cages while trying to get a good swing down? He's just an entertaining guy, so entertaining that even Randy Johnson had to capture this moment. The Big Unit whips out his phone and took some video of Beast Mode as he hacked away in the cage. Randy almost looks like a proud dad back there too, getting up close and personal with Lynch. I can only imagine who he sent those videos too, probably to his HS group chat being like "check this shit out guys". Randy was even nice enough to give him a few pointers from outside the cage. He ended up making contact the next swing and then declared that was enough, he knew to end on a high note.
I'm sure a ton of old retired NFL guys wouldn't even think about getting in the box vs speed like that but Marshawn handled it pretty well. He's always up for a challenge too, something came over Lynch and he suddenly asked them to crank that bad boy to 100. I'd have loved to see the result of that at-bat, or just Lynch's reaction to 100. I have a feeling he'd make a U turn the second he saw triple digits come his way, hard to blame him. But he was a good sport throughout this, had some fun and had Randy Johnson cracking up as he laid down some bunts. What a life this guy lives, he's the best.
