The "Fire Fickell" Chants Are Out In Madison As Wisconsin Is Getting Embarrassed By Maryland

Well this is disappointing to say the least. What does Wisconsin think they are? Who does Wisconsin think they're going to get? Because I got news for anyone chanting "Fire Fickell" in the stands in Madison right now because they're unhappy he's about to fall under .500 during his tenure there after this embarrassing game against Maryland concludes: it ain't going to get any better. There's a lot of factors that draw the nation's top players to universities these days, and unfortunately Wisconsin doesn't appear to have any of them. So to boo the man for playing the cards he's dealt? Disgusting!

Luke Fickell is a proven winner. He showed it in college and he showed it at Cincinnati. He may have bitten off more than he can chew going to a lower tier Big Ten school and having to play the big dogs like Maryland week in and week out, but he knows ball and his resume shows that. So if your fan base is going to whine and moan in the stands about him, I don't even want him to sit around and let you fire him at the end of the season. He should quit this afternoon!

Coach Fickell, it's time to come home where you are appreciated. No, you won't be the Head Coach of course. We have the best one in the entire country in Ryan Day. And honestly, with Matt Patricia running the defense we don't even need you as a Coordinator. But what I can offer you is perhaps the opportunity of a lifetime to assist James Laurinaitis with the linebackers. 

Here's my pitch: collect your buyout from Wisconsin and come volunteer with the Buckeyes alongside another former Ohio State player / your former assistant Marcus Freeman.
