Michigan's Coaching Staff Made One of the Biggest Mental Mistakes of All-Time That Allowed Nebraska To Complete a Hail Mary for a TD To End the First Half

What a tragic blunder by Michigan head coach Biff Poggi to end the first half. Nebraska seemed content to punt and go into halftime down 17-10, but after the Cornhuskers ran the ball on third down, Michigan — with timeouts left — just let the clock run all the way down. If Poggi had called timeout with 20 seconds left, Nebraska would have been forced to punt and the Wolverines would have gone into the locker room up a touchdown.

Instead, the clock ran all the way down to one second, Matt Rhule used a timeout and then Dylan Raiola was able to put up a Hail Mary that ended up in the arms of Jacory Barney in the end zone. Brutal.

Surely that won't come back to bite Michigan ...
