Caitlin Clark Was Fined A Whopping $200 From The WNBA For Commenting On An Instagram Post That The Refs Couldn't Stop The Indiana Fever
Caitlin Clark with the biggest news drop on what has been a pretty boring college football Saturday. Let me start by saying the WNBA is a completely unserious league. You can't expect people to take you seriously when you're fining a player worth millions a whopping $200 for commenting under an Instagram post. You're better off just not fining them at that point, and instead maybe just sending them a text message or something not to do that again.
I think CC will take the $200 fine every single day of the week considering the Indiana Fever are making an improbable playoff run after winning the first round against the Atlanta Dream despite CC being out for the entire playoffs due to injury. Now they're up against the league's hottest team in the Aces who busted out a 17 game win streak to finish the regular season. If there's one person who still believes in them despite CC's injury, it's Portnoy:
Pretty sure he has a considerable amount of money riding on the Fever going far regardless of who is on the court, so good luck to them, and hopefully, the WNBA can install a payment plan or something for that whopping fine given to their league's star player.
