"It's Up To Them If They Wanna Be Honest About That" - Clemson Got The Brakes Beat Off Them By Syracuse, And Instead Of Taking It On The Chin, Starting QB Cade Klubnik Chalked The Loss Up To The Orange Faking Injuries To Slow Them Down

One of the greatest surprises to the 2025 college football season has easily been Clemson becoming a straight up dumpster fire. All I heard going into this year was how loaded their defense was, with multiple guys going in the top 10 of the upcoming draft, potentially three if Cade Klubnik stepped up and played like the Heisman contender that many hoped he'd be. This was the year for Clemson as Dabo's dismissal of NIL and the transfer portal led up to this moment of stud upperclassman all over the roster. Instead they're here…

Yes, you're reading that right. Yesterday my Syracuse Orange went into Death Valley and bullied Clemson into submission.

This was one-sided the entire way, with Syracuse blowing Clemson off the football from the jump. No flukes to be found, no bad call to be blamed, just football domination. It was honestly shocking to watch how successful the Orange were on both sides of the football. Fran Brown had the boys ramped up and flying all over the field. It was glorious to watch.

After the game Dabo had a good ol' fashioned crash out.

But the worst reaction came from the QB Klubnik who seemed to blame the loss on Syracuse players faking injuries after big plays by Clemson and slowing their momentum.

Outside of this being awful loser talk with zero signs of accountability —par for the course with a Dabo led team— the weird part is I can't seem to remember many big plays in general coming from Clemson. Even if there's an ounce of truth about Cuse messing around and trying to slow down their opponent's play, that's not the reason you lost to them by multiple touchdowns and were out-played across the board AT HOME. If the game came down to a final drive where that shit happened then yeah we can have a conversation about it. You were down 20 to start the 4th quarter. Can't be blaming that game on your opponent messing with your momentum when you didn't have any to begin with. Maybe look at your own coach instead?

The worst part of this win is that Fran Brown's name couldn't be hotter. I don't know how Cuse keeps him. Dude has completely transformed this program from a laughing stock to something worth buying into. Fran forever
