After Last Night's Welcome Dinner, Your 2025 Ryder Cup Leader in the Clubhouse is Jon Rahm's Wife Kelley

It's a Tradition Unlike Any Other [tm]. Truly one of the best events on the sports calendar. Every two years, the best the game has to offer gather together in the spirit of competition. To represent not only themselves, and their teams, but their home countries against the world's greatest on the international stage. All eyes of the world are on Bethpage Black in Farmstead, NY to see how well these champions can do when the pressure is at its most intense.
I'm talking of course about the Ryder Cup Welcome Dinner, which was held last night at Hempstead House in Sands Point. And as happens every two years, the Cup itself was not the trophy everyone came to see. From Katie Rose to Katherine Morikawa to Meredith Scheffler to Jillian Thomas:

… they all brought their A-games and played to win.
But one stood above the rest. Jon Rahm, wife Kelley, who came to Team Europe from her ancestral homeland of Oregon via Arizona State University, showed up to that dinner like she planned on capturing the maximum five points before the dessert arrived:

That's how you show up when international pride is on the line. That's how you hit fairways and greens in regulation and putt lights out. Which has become a bit of her own tradition for Mrs. Rahm at these gala events:
With all due respect to Team USA, let's just make note of this and be ready for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland. Because just like Rahm isn't going anywhere and will be playing for the home team, Kelley is going to be topping the leader board as well. And we'd better be ready to bring the big guns, too. U!S!A!
