Pitt Players Nearly Got in a Brawl With a Louisville Ball Boy After Refusing To Give the Football Back Following a Pick Six
The most dedicated man on a college football field in the noon slate was Louisville's ball boy stationed on Pitt's sideline. Miller Moss threw a pick six that put the Panthers up 17-0, but when Rasheem Biles came back to the sideline with Louisville's football, the Cardinals' ball boy wasn't giving it up without a literal fight.
It seems like we see this exact altercation a couple times very season. These poor ball boys are put in a terrible situation where they're supposed to get the footballs back from players on the opposing team that sometimes feel they own them now after getting a turnover.
But that needs to just be the new rule: if you take the other team's football away on the field, it's yours now. If you don't want to go through too many game balls, don't turn it over. There's no reason to have ball boys fighting college football players in full pads for a football.
Credit to that guy for being on top of his shit, though.
