The Michael Penix/Bijan Robinson Ass Kicking Tour Is Officially BACK ON

We took a very brief intermission to get shut out by the Carolina Panthers for some reason, but the Atlanta Falcons Offensive Explosion Tour is officially back in business.

The way the Falcons' offense looked on Sunday in a 34-27 win over the Washington Commanders makes last week's abysmal performance that much more perplexing, but shit happens, I guess. If this kind of game can become the norm, though, this team is absolutely going to be in a position to compete for a playoff spot.

It's generally not great to have an offense so predicated on one player being successful, but when that player is Bijan Robinson, you'll take your chances. Robinson rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries while also putting up 106 receiving yards on four catches. If the Falcons decided they really wanted to wear him out, he could put up otherworldly numbers.

This team should be a little disappointed with a 2-2 record given how things have gone so far, but now it gets a bye week to get right and take on the Bills and 49ers before a very manageable stretch of Dolphins, Patriots, Colts, Panthers, Saints and Jets.

Now we go.
