Do You Believe In Miracles: The Eagles Just Won A Game Without Running A Single Tush Push

They said it couldn't be done. They said it was impossible. That the only reason the Eagles have won 19 out of their last 20 games was because they shove Jalen Hurts in the ass a couple times per game to pick up 1 yard. That this team would be absolutely nothing without the Tush Push. You make the play illegal, and the Eagles would be nothing more than just the Browns of the NFC East.

Turns out you can suck the Eagles sideways, baby. Because they went down to Tampa to play against a Bucs team that always seems to have their number. They had to battle the heat. They had to battle some ticky tacky taunting calls. But they played 4 quarters of football, ran 59 plays, and not a single one of them was a tush push.

That's the thing. The Eagles have never actually needed the Tush Push. It's a nice luxury to have in your back pocket. And it definitely helps set up plays like this one where they tricked the dicks off the Todd Bowles and the Bucs' defense. But do you want to know how the Eagles win football games?

It's simple. They are always winning the turnover battle. They get key takeaways at key moments.

I mean they were able to put 7 points up on the board before the offense even touched the field after the special teams came up with another massive block for a touchdown.

They force their opponents to make mistakes. Then they capitalize on those mistakes. And then they don't make those same mistakes themselves.

That little piss boy Adam Schefter wants to cry on ESPN every Monday morning about how the Eagles won all their games back when the league decided to not ban the Tush Push. I wouldn't expect some dork who literally just gossips all day for his job to understand the Tush Push is maybe 0.5% of what the Eagles do. They won this game because Tampa turned the ball over twice, and had a punt blocked and returned for a touchdown. Meanwhile, the Eagles didn't have any turnovers. It's as simple as that.

Now would it have been nice if they didn't make this win as difficult as possible on themselves in the 2nd half? For sure. Everything that was working for them offensively in the 1st half just went to shit in the 2nd half. But they built themselves up a big enough lead to survive. They're flying home from Tampa at 4-0. Can't ask for much more than that. Go Birds, dickhead.
