Fortnite Disables The 'Peacemaker' Dance For Its Possible Connections To Nazis

***SPOILERS FOR THIS SEASON OF PEACEMAKER IN THIS BLOG***

The other shoe has finally dropped on the alternate universe in this season of 'Peacemaker', and it turns out we were all right....

They're Nazis!

We didn't see any people of color in the background of this universe because it's Earth-X, where Hitler won, and all of our favorite characters are now stuck here with a terrifyingly racist society. This has led everyone to search for hints that we might've missed earlier on in the season, including the swastika ash tray in the Smith house….

….and even the dance from this season's intro, which also resembles a swastika from a certain point of view….

It's a brilliant easter egg (if intentional), in my mind, because it's such a subtle hint that now makes so much sense considering where the season has gone….but there's just one issue. This dance was featured in Fortnite recently, so there's a chance little kids are running around no-scoping their friends and hitting the Swastika emote on their asses. I'd argue that's worse than getting tea-bagged OR the griddy being done on your grave! Imagine little kids doing Nazi dances on the playground?!

Fortnite has disabled the dance for the time being, while they "inquire into [DC's] creative intentions" here - and who knows what happens next. Does DC claim they were so secretive about the final three episodes of this season that the dance slipped through the cracks? Do they say the dance that looks a lot like a human swastika in the show about a Nazi world has nothing to do with the H-man? Just a tough situation all around.
