'Teams Shoot Themselves In The Foot, Then We Come Back And Shoot Ourselves In The Head' - Breece Hall Summed Up The Jets Better Than Anyone Could Ever Imagine
Jerry did a good job talking about how the Jets are just historically bad here:
However, even the great author known as Old Balls, couldn't sum it up better than one of their own. Breece Hall saying the Jets shoot themselves in the back of the head is an incredible quote and easily the best one of the year. I thought Cam Ward saying the Titans were ass would stick for a bit. It lasted one day because the Jets played. He's not even wrong, which is the scary part. Look at last night alone:
First drive was a fumble after an 82-yard drive where they looked like they could run however they wanted. Oh, and on the fumble Braelon Allen hurt his knee and was out for the game.
Second drive - another fumble.
Kickoff return to start the 2nd half while only down 7? You guessed it. Fumble.
Honestly it's hilarious watching the Jets play because they do just lose games on their own. Well, that, or Sauce Gardner will just blame the refs
You can win shooting yourself in the foot, you absolutely can't win if you shoot yourself in the back of the head. That's what the Jets do and that's what the Jets have done since basically Super Bowl III. They are just a bad franchise, let alone a bad team. You rotate all these quarterbacks, they never have a plan, they have a whole montage of getting booed during the Draft. At least their uniforms last night were sweet, give them credit for that. But what a ridiculously hilarious quote. Good luck topping that for the rest of the season.
