Austin Wells, Bad Baserunning, Clutch Pitching, And Some Good Ol' Luck - The Yankees Find a Way To Win a Thriller And Force a Win or Go Home Game 3 Against The Red Sox

How in the world did the Yankees win that game? There's actually a deciding Game 3 Thursday night? That's for real? I'm in disbelief. I'm stunned that neither Story or Rafaela's fly outs left the park. In the moment I got caught up with Story's, but it definitely was enough hard contact to scare me.
Rafaela's I thought was 15 rows back.
I'm stunned Rafaela fucked up the bunt earlier so bad to gift Fernando Cruz a free out with 1st and 2nd and nobody out. I thought this lost Boston the game. Dude was clueless up there.
I'm baffled that Eaton was held up at 3rd on the bouncer to Rice from Jazz, who made a great play to keep that sucker in the infield. I thought for sure the moment that skips away from Rice they'd pan to home plate as the runner came home. What a gift.
All of this bailed out a helpless Boone who left Rodon in way too long and nearly cost them the game.
I'm shocked Jazz Chisholm Jr. hauled that much ass around 3rd to score and take the lead. Austin Wells you beautiful son of a bitch!
What a game, what a win. Cruz, Williams, and Bednar were massive when you needed them most, especially with how bad Weaver was on Tuesday. The pen was nails, they really were.
Now tomorrow night is Game 3 with rookies on the mound in a kitchen sink effort where pretty much everyone is available. My goddamn heart man. This shit is not for the weak.
P.S. That bullpen management from Cora was bizarre. Mut I'm sure is going to dig into that more. Such a strange short leash on Bello and the insistence on leaving Whitlock out there to die. Boone definitely did his part to try and fuck this game up with Rodon starting the 7th and being allowed to have two batters reach, but Cora tried his best to outdo him with the fuck ups.
P.P.S. No shit that Rice and Jazz played major roles in this game. Splits this, splits, that. Play your best guys.
