WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert Got Boo'd Into Bolivian And ESPN Had To Blur The Screen Because Of Fans Flipping Her Off During The Aces Trophy Presentation

Listen, the WNBA Finals ended last night with the Aces sweeping the Mercury and A'ja Wilson might actually be the best WNBA player of all time. But everyone who follows the league was waiting to see what would happen when the commissioner stepped to the podium to congratulate the eventual winner, considering the fire she's been under after Napheesa Collier's end of season press conference:

And as everyone expected, it opened up to tons of boos and ESPN producers were sent into an absolute frenzy when the crowd was giving her the bird:

Those producers having no clue what to do is reminds me of one of our productions, but we're not producing a live broadcast finals of a growing sports league on national television. At that point do you just take the FCC fine or whatever or claim ignorance? Sorry kids watching at home, Cathy said some crazy things about the league's superstar and has been all over the map as a commissioner so people are giving her the bird.

Regardless, that puts an end to what was another chaotic season in "The W". And the more things change, the more they stay the same with the Aces being an absolute dynasty. Now give me Angel Reese to Indiana news this offseason and let the Internet burn!

P.S. Bam and A'ja Wilson are special:
