'I Didn't Know What The Plan Was. Once I Figured It Out, I Was Disappointed' - Garrett Wilson Is The Latest Jet To Chime In On Their Misery, Continue To Hit Rock Bottom
I didn't think my son's 6-year old game would be more entertaining than an NFL game, but here we are. I would watch that U-8 soccer game a million times over the Jets/Broncos disaster, but it's fitting that they played in England. If we're going to lose games at home across the league, send the shitty ones overseas so they stop asking for them. But this is about the Jets and Garrett Wilson. That exchange at halftime picked up steam when the Jets just didn't do anything. They were running the ball, one of the worst 2-minute drills you'll ever see.
So why did Garrett Wilson react like that? Allow him to explain:
Incredible. He joins the list of guys chiming in with amazing quotes about how much it sucks to be on the Jets:
Again, hard to argue with them when stats like this are out there:
Good times! There should be a rule when a franchise sucks this much they have to lose players. Let the Giants have Garrett Wilson. He'll at least be able to get some passes and be competitive. Breece Hall keeps staying loyal, for, well, I have no idea why. No one would blame any Jet player, especially on offense, begging to get out of there. You have a legit WR1, who just wants some chances, especially in a game that ended 13-11. You could barely complete forward passes so, yeah, I'd be disappointed too.
Just brutal all the way around. I'm starting to feel bad for Jets fans, but they have to be used to this. They have to get used to rock bottom and then somehow finding a way for it all to get worse. That's life for them.
