Cleveland Radio Host, Tony Rizzo, Unleashed Into The Browns For Giving The Bengals Joe Flacco And Caring More About The New Stadium Than The Team

Let me start by saying this: I do see a world where Andrew Berry is looking at his roster filled with no less than a hundred quarterbacks on it, with his team being out of contention already, and deciding to ship off the 40 year old for a 5th round pick. On the surface level, the idea of getting something in return for a guy who won't be here next year when this year is already over makes sense to me. But when you here the great Tony Rizzo scream about it, I have no choice but to change sides.

What an incredible rant from the ESPN Cleveland Radio Host. And it makes you wonder, why does Andrew Berry consistently think he's the smartest person in the league and two, why is he still in the league? I saw McNeil said it best today, the Browns are 6 years into a 3 year rebuild. At what point is Haslam going to decide that Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry may not be the ones for the job anymore.

And to be clear, I'm not off the Stefanski train. He's the 2x coach of the year for a reason. But he also goes on to make some of the dumbest, weirdest decisions from time to time that makes me question how you can be so good and so bad as a Head Coach. I'm tired of watching poor clock management, too much conservativeness in the red zone, but also not enough running the ball in obvious running situations. And I think he's one more blunder away at the end of a loss from getting canned. The good news for his haters is that we have a close spread against the Dolphins at home on Sunday. A game we should absolutely win, but if I know the Browns, we'll find a way to lose. And I think Jimmy could fire him as early as Monday morning....

Speaking of Jimmy, I thought the best part of Rizzo's rant was saying that he "cares more about his new stadium than the team". FACT. Don't get me wrong, it will be cool to have a shiny new stadium when it's complete (although I've always been on the side of football in Cleveland should be played outdoors), but what are we supposed to do while we wait? Sit on our fucking thumbs and watch the worst organization in professional sports get even worse? It was comical last night how even when we didn't play, we were still the biggest losers.

Only in Cleveland.

Great rant, Rizz.
