The Browns Might Be A Dumpster Fire, But At Least They're Not The Dolphins

I'll say this: I get so caught up in the dumpster fire that is the Cleveland Browns every Sunday that it never crossed my mind that another franchise could possibly be in a worse spot than ours.....but holy shit the Dolphins fucking suck. Like, these were supposed to be two of the three or four worst teams in the NFL, and this was an absolute dick kicking. Belt to ass. Never even close. I whine and moan about our quarterback situation and how Dillon Gabriel doesn't have the arm strength to throw it down field, nor the accuracy to make the short throws, nor the athleticism to make plays, nor the Offensive Line to give him any time.....but my goodness, at least we don't have Tua! 12 of 23 for 100 yards on the dot and 3 interceptions. I genuinely feel bad for Nicky Smokes. That team is truly terrible. Who gets beat 31-6 to CLEVELAND?

As for the Browns side of things:

- This rookie class continues to be awesome. Quinshon Judkins adds 3 touchdowns to his rookie campaign that....and I know Egbuka has been awesome....but can Q make it a little questionable as to who the Rookie of the Year should be?

- I still don't think Dillion Gabriel is the guy. 13 of 18 for 116 yards without any turnovers in the rain isn't a bad thing at all, but he simply doesn't give us the ability to throw the ball down field. We're going to see Shedeur at some point this season, folks.

- The Browns needed this win. Lots of noise coming out of Cleveland this week after the 1-5 start. Do we fire Stefanski? Fire Berry? Why'd we trade Flacco? Myles Garrett saying he cares way more than the fans. Flacco led the Bengals to victory. Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. Obviously this isn't a great win, but it's a needed win. We're not the worst team in the NFL and it's not even close. Reminder, this trash ass Dolphins team beat the Jets....

- Is this season 100% over? I'm not saying we're any good. We're not. But umm, you know who else isn't? Every single team in the AFC North. We're 2 and 5 but the Ravens are absolute trash without Lamar, the Bengals (although greatly improved with Flacco) don't have Burrow, and the Steelers have to be the worst division leader in football. All I'm saying is this can get so bad that everyone is still in contention....

….especially with the Browns upcoming schedule. Yes, the Patriots next week is likely a loss but then coming out of the Bye we get the winless Jets, 1 win Baltimore, and 2 win Vegas. Again, not optimistic that we're good, but optimistic that everyone is so bad that at least we shouldn't be tanking and hopefully can make Weeks 10-17 at least watchable. Often times by this point I'm hoping we lose so we can get the #1 pick. It appears the Jets, Dolphins, and Titans will be doing that this year, and I want this Rookie class to learn how to win. Don't let us beat the Patriots next week or else….well I won't say it. Let's beat the Patriots first (5% chance)
