All Heart: This Ref Left It All On The Field To Make Sure The Houston Texans Didn't Beat The Everliving Shit Out Of Jaxson Smith-Njigba

This man Nate Jones knows one thing and one thing only. Brotherhood. I didn't realize he was a former NFL player until I saw that line from NFL on CBS. But it makes sense he protects JSN at all costs after this:

Pretending to dunk on a ref is an A+ celebration. Subtle, but insulting, which is really the perfect way to go about it. This whole thing just reminds me how JSN is basically a little brother. He has all the personality traits, probably being used to having DK Metcalf around him. He's agitating, he's frustrating, he gets protected by the ref after getting involved in the brouhaha.

I know the 'real' reason is you had JSN on the opposing side bench, in a vulnerable spot, all the normal stuff you'll hear. But that's not fun. There's no point in talking about how the ref made a good decision to make sure JSN isn't getting his ass kicked by the Texans at 1am because Goodell sucks. Seriously, at some point we need people with brains to step in and not have a game start at 10pm on a Monday because you want more money. Pretty dumb for the rest of the fans, especially people who want to actually see the Seahawks since they aren't just sneaky good anymore. The Seahawks are good. Sam Darnold is good. The defense is elite. JSN is probably going to end up leading the NFL in a bunch of receiving categories as the year ends. It's worth watching a team who can make the Super Bowl, but not at 1:30 in the morning against the Texans, who are one of the more brutal watches in the league.
