Saturday Night Light losing a step is nothing new, but it's still stunning to see how little impact it makes inside the pop culture zeitgeist today. How did a weekly institution like SNL go from being a massively influential star making factory to an afterthought for anyone who owns a smart phone? 

Well friends, that's a debate someone else can fucking solve another day. Take a billion seats because this blog is about a brief moment of shining light SNL just had, not unlike the moment in 'The Perfect Storm' where the sun comes out to show Clooney & Marky Mark it's gonna be FINE. Of course 3 seconds later the stormy seas end up swallowing them whole but let's enjoy this second of bliss from their recent host Sabrina Carpenter shall we?
