Emma Stone & Stavvy Had A "BALDS ONLY" Screening For Their New Alien Kidnapping Movie 'BUGONIA' With Heads Getting Shaved At The Door & Yorgos Is Getting Rave Reviews Once More
Been seeing a lot of buzz lately for this new flick 'BUGONIA' and it does seem to have all the necessary ingredients to be an absolute banger... Stavvy debuting in his 1st Hollywood role with known Yorgos sycophants Emma Stone & Jesse Plemons plus Alicia Silverstone back from the dead? Kidnapping plot with possible alien abductions involved? Uncomfortable WEIRDNESS?
Honestly only thing we're missing here is a whispered promise of Willem Dafoe showing up to steal some cheekbones. But either way you definitely can't deny the track record from Yorgos lately. Dude just loves directing uniquely bizarre stories for the masses with no punches pulled. Shout out to the orgy scene in 'Kinds Of Kindness' whew doggy!
Here's the plot summary for 'BUGONIA' which just started to have reviews released this week.
Two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.
Spoiler alert for all you Cum City fans though, I can't guarantee that Stavvy is in it for more than a few scenes. But goddamnit did he look magnificent for their red carpet premiere! And hopefully he's feeling a little better with Lamar almost healed up.
Now generally I'm not a big fan of movie marketing gimmicks but I will tip my cap for what they just pulled off… Only way to attend a special Q/A screening with all the stars in the theatre was to either be bald or get shaved up at the door.
Bald is beautiful! And I would definitely choose shaving my head over walking on a treadmill the whole time. Movement of any kind should be illegal in movie theaters.
Early reviews got 'BUGONIA' holding strong at 88% on RT and releases everywhere next Friday on 10/31. Think there's some special screenings this weekend if you're really feeling an alien itch. Or just want to see more of Emma Stone at her peak, who may very well be our generations Meryl Streep. She's come a long way from chugging outta gas cans in 'Superbad'.
And maybe this will start a comeback tour for Ms. Silverstone too, Batgirl didn't hear no fucking bell! Fingers crossed.
PS: I know 'The Curse' was supremely odd but still need Emma to do another project with Nathan Fielder ASAP.
PPS: Yorgos needs to team up with The Wonton Don for the sequel, the marketing writes itself.
