Kevin Millar Called His Shot Pregame With An Incredible Prediction About What Miguel Rojas Was Going To Do In Game 7

We all know how incredible Miguel Rojas' Game 7 was, maybe the best way you could ever go out on top. Game tying homer in the top of the 9th down 1, and some incredible plays defensively, especially late in the game to keep it tied.

What a performance by Miggy, but I do think there was someone else who somehow had a better performance than Rojas did. Kevin Millar gave us maybe the best called shot of all time by absolutely nailing his pregame prediction on MLB Network. By the way, MLB Network isn't just the best sports station out there, it may be the best overall channel on tv. Everything they do is great, including stuff like this. Their talking heads shows aren't screaming for an hour, it's good solid analysis by VERY smart people. Day after day it's incredible, mostly because you get stuff like this from Millar.

Millar could have said star on this loaded Dodgers team would hit a homer tonight in the biggest game of their lives, but nope, he picked Miguel Rojas. Admitting to the whole world that you're banking on a homer from the 9 hitter who had 7 homers all year (1 off a righty. That's a recipe to get dunked on if it doesn't go well and he puts up an 0-5 in your face. But nope, he called his shot and smoked it. "This dude's gonna have a moment tonight." Plain and simple, and boy did he have one. Rojas was a pitch from seeing his professional baseball career come to an end, instead he ends up willing them to a World Series Championship. Kevin knew!

Millar talked a lot about Rojas' defense too, what a performance he put on the last 2 nights in some MASSIVE spots. If this was the first baseball game you've ever seen you all of a sudden think Miguel Rojas is the most clutch person on the planet, that's not too far from the truth. Awesome night for Rojas, but how about Kevin Millar looking into his crystal ball and calling his shot. We hear about the announcers jinx, but don't hear much about the "calling your shot" success story. Have a night Miggy Rojas, but also have a night Kevin Millar, you've earned a nice little pat on the back.

PS. Awesome clip here of Rojas and his kids celebrating, what a cool scene for them.
