Cut Him: Zach Calzada, A Bum Ass QB Who Got Benched By Kentucky In His 7th Year In College, Is On Video Talking Shit To Fans And Bragging About NIL Money

I haven't blogged much about Kentucky football because there's nothing to blog about. We ended Hugh Freeze's career at Auburn, but that's nothing. He was basically the worst coach left in the league, so it was only a matter of time. I can't keep talking about how Mark Stoops needs to go and how Mitch Barnhart fucked everything up by giving Stoops a $38 million buyout. 

But this? This is where I have to talk about something because I've seen it too many times. Zach Calzada, a bum ass quarterback who is in 7th year in college and was already benched for Cutter Boley, talking shit to fans and bragging about his NIL money. Cut him. Make him play scout team defensive line like the Panthers and Baker Mayfield. This is where if Stoops has any heart and balls he'd get rid of this guy. Then again, Stoops is to blame. How did he not figure out this kid sucks before he came to Kentucky? Why was he even named the starter when everyone with a brain knows Cutter Boley is a much better player? 

This is where we need some sort of rules with NIL. If you suck ass, get benched and still act like a complete dickhead, you get fined. Cut the NIL in half. Cut him, make him be a regular student. You can't act like Johnny Manziel doing the money stuff and then be sitting on the bench with less than 300 yards passing on the year.

I know, I know, Kentucky football. But we are a few years removed from 10-win seasons, constantly putting guys in the NFL Draft and now we're stuck with this shit. Stoops was the perfect hire who made Kentucky respectable, but now he's lost it all. This is the last dumb mistake he made, swung and missed on a 7th year quarterback when you had a guy in camp just better than him. Give me Jon Sumrall, get Zach Calzada the fuck out of my face and off my team.
