"Stay Tuned - I Have Some Names That We Can’t Throw Out Yet.” - Sydney Sweeney Reveals Talks About Having A Real Boxing Match

Sydney Sweeney was recently asked about the possibility of ever having a real boxing match, while promoting 'CHRISTY' - the new biopic on the life/career of Christy Martin - and her answer revealed she's given that idea a lot of thought!

“In the middle of filming I was like, ‘I love this.’ This isn’t as hypothetical as you think it is. I’d totally do a charity bout, that’d be so sick. You’ll have to wait, I’m serious. Stay tuned and you’ll see it. I have some names that we can’t throw out yet.”

"I have some names that we can't throw out yet" is craaazy - she's even talking like a fighter already! 

Could this be a load of shit just to grab a couple headlines? Totally. Sweeney showed with 'Anyone But You' that she could blur the kayfabe lines with the best of em to promote a movie. Imagine she's serious, though? Who the hell could possibly be a matchup for her? Would it be like, Katie Taylor or Amanda Serrano walking her through a super light spar for charity - or is she thinking about wailing away with another celebrity? 

I mean, she DID just start dating Scooter Braun. Could you imagine if she threw the gauntlet down to Taylor Swift? Full library/masters on the line?! Now that's a fight that could bring Rough N Rowdy back from the dead.

Side note: Sydney Sweeney has been catching a lot of shit for a recent interview she gave after a GQ "Man of the Year" photoshoot, and I've seen a lot of people suggest she might've been stoned during it....

I'm not gonna throw around such accusations, but I did think her eyes look a bit glazed over when I first saw it - and GQ just released some more photos from said-photoshoot that feature Sydney chilling next to Stephen Colbert….

….as well as Stephen Colbert smoking a joint….

If we're connecting the dots, the thought of that "blunt rotation" is kinda hilarious. I just had to point that out.

Oh, and UFC is on right now, but I gotta be honest, nothing too crazy has happened as of yet. We got this knockout from the lunatic famous for saying he wanted to fight sex traffickers, pedophiles, rapists, or transgenders on the Contender Series….
