Eastern Washington Loses A Game In Brutal Fashion After The QB Fumbles The Snap When He Was Going To Spike The Ball

I doubt anyone was watching this game aside from close friends and family but the great thing about 2025 is highlights … or lowlights like this one quickly find their way to your timeline. 

Anyway. What an awful awful way to lose a football game. Now EWU still needed to score on 4th down to win the game but to not only lose, but to lose without ever getting the last shot to tie it… brutal. And the minute he fumbled it there’s literally nothing on the planet you can do to fix it. The rest of the team can’t just run a route they all stood still because it was a spike. No one even sees it . The QB can’t yell “fire” like most teams practice on a botched punt because of the clock, you are straight up fucked. Just awful way to lose a football game.
