The "Housekeeping Olympics" Are Apparently A Real Thing And Is Currently Happening In Las Vegas

Listen, they'll make competition for anything these days. You'll find events of all types in the social media era, there's even a world championship for stone skimming:

So it should be a little hard to get shocked by an event these days, but I think the Housekeeping Olympics is gonna qualify. And this is a sport of integrity unlike stone skimming because I don't really know how you can cheat in this. I could watch bed-making videos all day. There's nothing more satisfying than making your bed every morning, let alone a perfectly made one. I think a guy that used to work here used to be big on that and I agree.

Turns out there's a few different events, everything from bed making to mopping and vacuuming:

These events took place at the Michelob Arena in Vegas, which fits 12,000 people. And while that doesn't look like a complete sellout, you can't tell me the crowd wasn't a little bit electric. Imagine your wife making you skip some primetime football because she wants you at the housekeeping championships?
