Ryan Day Is Unsatisfied With The Buckeyes 9-0 Start And Has Raised The Grade For A Player Be Named A "Champion" Of The Game
Ryan Day is officially in his Nick Saban College Football Domination Era and I am absolutely here for it.
Remember when Saban was back at LSU and the Tigers won a game and he went on a rant about you can’t get happy about the results if the process is not right?
First of all, not to make LSU fans upset but that’s a far cry from Brian Kelly when he said "LSU won the game. What else do you want? Do you want us to win 70 to 0?".....
Talk about a difference in styles. But that’s not the point of this blog. The point of this blog is that Ohio State is the defending National Champions. They are sitting at 9 and 0. They are the number 1 ranked team in the country. And Ryan Day is changing Ohio State’s grade out necessary to be named a Champion for a game.
It has always been 80%. You grade out at 80%, you’re a champion. But more than midway through the season where the rest of the country has decided Ohio State really has no flaws and hasn’t struggled once, Ryan Day has raised that mark to 83% because, and I quote, we feel like we need to up the ante and the execution.
It sounds like Michigan is coming up. And sounds like someone that used to dominate college football…..
