Jake Paul Is Now Fighting 6'6 245lb Anthony Joshua In December After His Fight With Gervonta Davis Was Cancelled
Listen, by now Jake Paul is the only name in boxing worth a damn. He's the only person who makes headlines, whether that's for better or worse. And it was announced that he was finally fighting a "real boxer" in Gervonta Davis:
And that fight was cancelled after Gervonta goes through some legal troubles to put it mildly. So now it's announced that he's facing Anthony Joshua, you know, one of the best heavyweight boxers of our time:
Some quick Google searches tell me that Jake Paul is 6'1 while Anthony Joshua is 6'6 and a two time world champ who still has some gas left in the tank at 36. And it's apparently worth $267 million (67 haunts me in my nightmares):
What an incredible job by the Paul team to find a capable replacement for what most people think is just people willing to take a dive for a paycheck. Joshua is off a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois but before that started racking up wins against guys like Francis Ngannou. And according to Paul he doesn't have a chin, is stiff, and has no skill:
I guess we just wait and see. Regardless of what you think about Paul, somehow this guy just continues to make splashes every single couple months. Game respect game:
Anthony Joshua by knockout in the 6th round. See you in the funny pages.
