Known Philosopher Abella Danger Put Out A Special Birthday Request To The World Along With A Charity Auction Of Her Best Outfits From The PornHub Awards, AVN Awards & More. Effective Altruism FTW

ICYMI, Abella Danger isn't just everyone's favorite step sister anymore. 

Over the past few years she's been studying her ass off at THE U of Miami to become a world leading philosopher too. And so far, it's been a smashing success for Ms. Danger. 

Truly the definition of get yourself a girl that can do BOTH. 

And you'll have to forgive my immediate glazing, but Abella is a very good friend of the program here. Pretty sure she's created more content for Barstool than Brazzers over the past 6.9 years. So I'm always down to give a tip of the cap to a content creator who's so very generous with her time. Of course it doesn't hurt that she always goes down smooth.

So when she put out a birthday request revolving around charity work, I felt compelled to lend a helping hand. How could I deny a good friend in need? Heart warming stuff really. 

And after all, who am I to argue with a bonafide philosophizer? She knows more about Socrates & formal logic than I could ever dream. Now I've never heard of being an "effective altruist" but maybe it's the greater calling I've been looking for? The more you know!

Letter from Abella

I am an Effective Altruist. What does this mean? It means I am committed to doing the most possible good as effectively as possible.

Why am I an Effective Altruist? Because I am a philosopher. One of the main branches of philosophy is logic, and logic requires that if the premises are true, the conclusion must also be true. Therefore, I believe it logically follows that human beings ought to do the most good for the greatest number of people.

My way of practicing Effective Altruism is by raising funds for the most effective life-saving charities, organizations that save the most lives with the greatest efficiency. Their aim is to save the lives of the poorest people in the world, which is effectively the most important thing one can do.

This year, I wanted to be creative and make fundraising for these charities fun by auctioning off some of my most meaningful possessions. These are articles of clothing I’ve worn throughout my life and career. I can’t wait to see how this turns out.

These charities are researched by GiveWell.org whose goal is to produce the worlds top research on where to give.
