I Went On Oona's Show And Drew The Worst Picture Of Myself (In A Scream Mask) Of All Time

Oona gets a lot of shit around here and I've never really understood why.

She got a job- (I use that term loosely because I don't think she was being compensated for a while, but I could be wrong)- as one of Kevin and John's production interns and she did a great job. Like pretty much everybody that works here behind the scenes, they could be working somewhere else, incredibly boring and monotonous, getting paid whatever, but they choose to work here, and prove their worth, in what has got to be one of the toughest and most demanding media environments around. The amount of talent we have at this company is fucking mind boggling. Especially when I think back to the days when we had Gaz and Devlin recording and "editing" all our videos. And when our first production intern Handsome Hank came to our rescue...

But I digress.

Oona is good people.

We needed an extra girl to balance out the Jersey Shore Beach House this summer after Danny invited himself, and when nobody stepped up, she threw her hat in the ring.

We butted heads a couple times there, but nothing major or serious. Mainly because she doesn't let people push her around and she stands up for herself. Which I respect the hell out of. Especially in a young female in a house full of older people she barely knows- including an out of place gentleman in his 40s going through a midlife crisis.

When we got back to normal life, and I saw Oona posting pictures and videos of her art, I messaged her immediately yelling at her for not mentioning her talent while we were on the show.

It would have been so fucking awesome if we could have had a real life court room sketch artist on hand to draw reenactments of events that went down- Danny's sex offense arrest (urinating in public), Katic's toasting, everybody in the house going to bed at midnight on a Saturday night except for the millennial, I could go on and on. Bottom line is those pictures would have been gold. And made great Christmas presents.

But, that's all a really long-winded way of saying how happy I was when I saw Oona debut this series where she sits down with some of the most unique minds at Barstool, and asks pretty probing questions while we are too distracted trying to draw, to actually notice. Or put up walls out of feeling self-conscious.

I'm pretty much an open book, with nothing to hide. So I don't think I really said anything earth shattering in our episode.

But I will say that Ryder Nation seems to agree, that Oona's conversation with Rico was the best and most thorough look into the mind of Bosco we've ever got. It was great episode and I highly recommend it.

She does all the filming, and editing herself, and you can tell she puts a lot of thought into it before the cameras start rolling. And the result is a great little product. I hope she keeps it up. Just never ask me to draw anything again and I'm good.
