We Got Our First Insane Rumor In The Kentucky Coaching Search - Chip Kelly Is Apparently A Name That UK Players Are Talking About

What in the fuck? I refuse to believe this is real. There's no chance this is real. Chip Kelly isn't coming to Kentucky, Kentucky players shouldn't be talking about Chip Kelly. The only Oregon offensive genius that Kentucky players should be talking about is Will Stein. This isn't the same old Chip Kelly, I don't want any part of him. I don't understand how players are even talking about Chip Kelly. Maybe they just were naming things? Trying to get to 65,000 things in a few days, who the hell knows, but I refuse to believe Chip Kelly is a real option. 

What I will say is I missed the coaching search life. I got to experience it last year when we were hiring Mark Pope. You had to track the flights, you had to read all the rumors and figure out what was real. You had to become an Internet detective. You had to figure it all out. This is what I needed in my life again. I said it before but Mark Stoops made Kentucky a respectable program, he will be remembered fondly for that. But it was time for a divorce. Now we get to figure out how the fuck Chip Kelly's name is mentioned. 

Kinda love the insane rumors. Give me another one today of like Brian Daboll just to get fired up. I need to feel something again with this program and hope we get there. Or just make the smart move and hire Will Stein, Brian Hartline or Bob Chesney. I'll even listen to Dan Mullen.
