CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa —Cedar Rapids police responding to a report of a suspicious subject found a walking meth lab Monday, KCRG-TV reported.  Police spokesman Greg Buelow told KCRG that 46-year-old Genio Ruiz and a woman were walking in the area. When stopped by officers, they noticed Ruiz had a “chemical odor.” KCRG reported that police searched Ruiz and found 16.5 grams of marijuana on him and a 20 ounce pop bottle tucked in the waistband of his pants. The bottle contained a “cloudy substance” and lithium battery strips. Police told KCRG that it is what is known as a “one pot” style meth lab. Ruiz was arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of meth precursors.

Cedar Rapids stand the fuck up!  The place I was born. The place I call home.  The place I lay my head down to sleep at night.  Always at the forefront of meth production. A couple months ago we had dudes cooking meth right in the kitchen of the Taco Bell where they worked. Basically getting paid double time to make crunch wrap supremes AND serve the local meth community.  A great idea minus the part where they got caught, got fired and got arrested.  With great ideas come great risks. Now?  Now we do it in our pants. Literally. Mobile meth laps right by the nut sack. Billy Beane/Brad Pitt had it right. Adapt or die is right. Garages, sheds, basements, RVS and even Taco Bells are all a thing of the past when it comes to meth production. You gotta stay two steps ahead of the law and that’s what our boy Genio was doing. Again, he just so happened to get caught but he’s a visionary. As soon as he’s outta the slammer I guarantee he’ll have a new idea. Walter White and his tighty whities can suck a lemon. We here in the middle of the map couldn’t be less impressed by your Vomonos Pest idea. Step your game up.
