Maryland Basketball Released Their First Hype Video And I've Never Been More Ready For A Season To Start

College hoops is finally here. Midnight Madness was over the weekend, practice has begun, the Terps are ranked a lowly 3rd in the USA Today coach’s poll, and the march towards Houston has started. If Maryland is going to win their first national championship since 2002, this is the year. They have all the talent in the world. 5 star center Diamond Stone. Preseason Big 10 player of the year Melo Trimble. Potential first round draft pick Jake Layman. Top 50 recruit Robert Carter. Duke transfer Rasheed Sulaimon. Sharpshooter Jared Nickens off the bench. Big man Damonte Dodd and 7 footer Michal Cekovsky, and finally a backup PG for Trimble Jaylen Brantley. Feels good to have a PG that can come off the bench and give Melo a rest, takes so much pressure off of him. The rotation of Sulaimon, Nickens, and Dion Wiley is absurd. Plus keep in mind Maryland went from having very little inside presence last year to now it being perhaps their biggest strength— they can have Stone and Carter in, they can rotate in Dodd for his defense, they can put Layman in as a stretch 4, Cekovsky in as a huge body, as we saw when he took big Frank off his game last season in the win over Wisconsin. Stacked, stacked Maryland team. Could not be more pumped up. It’s going to be a very fun regular season and then an extremely stressful tournament.

PS: This is cool as shit.

Maybe I’ll do the same thing. But with blogs. From Bentley’s. And alcohol. Same thing.
