Ned Yost With Arguably The Dumbest Decision in the History of Baseball Tonight #Yosted
Don’t make me look stupid, don’t make me look stupid, don’t make me look stupid…..aw dang it….
In case you weren’t watching the Royals were up 3-1 with a man on first and nobody out in the top of 8th inning. The Royals were 6 outs away from the World Series. They had Ryan Madson and his 5.60 ERA on the mound and their closer Wade Davis who hasn’t given up a run in the post season in forever and hasn’t pitched in 5 days ready in the bullpen. Poor Ned lets Madson face Jose Bautista (is he any good?) who promptly goes deep for the 2nd time in the game. How you don’t bring in arguably the best closer in baseball to get a 2 inning save at that point is beyond me. Now the game is in a rain delay and I’m going to bed but god damn that was stupid. That’s why I’d never hire a guy named Ned to manage my club. Eventually your first name will always catch up to you.
