Another game, another big victory for the Terps who knocked off number 18 Purdue on Saturday. It wasn’t the easiest game- Purdue is BIG. That big whitey is a pain in the ass. But Maryland’s defense was on point and Robert Carter proved why he might be a first round pick, going 4/6 from 3 to go with 7 boards and 2 blocks. Rasheed Sulaimon also had a great game, hitting 7/12 from the field and gobbling up 10 boards, not an easy feat vs Purdue’s size. And despite going 0/5 from 3, Melo still finished with 14 points, 7 assists, and only 1 turnover. He hasn’t been turning the ball over at all as of late, a very good sign for the Terps as they head into March.

So now the good guys of Maryland are ranked 2nd in the nation, only behind the Wildcats of Villanova. The Terps have a 1-off game vs Bowie State tomorrow, before finishing the last 6 games of their Big 10 schedule. They are looking to get revenge on the earlier season loss to Michigan, and then will have a tough game at Purdue on the 27th. Almost March Madness, I can taste it in the air and it tastes glorious.

Name something people who live in Maryland love more than the flag, you can’t.
