So Apparently ODB Is Living At Drake's House
ESPN- Odell Beckham Jr. has a roommate even more famous than he is. The New York Giants‘ star wide receiver is currently living with Drake, he revealed in a conversation with UFC star Ronda Rousey on DraftKings TV. “That’s my guy right there,” Beckham said of Drake. “Somebody whose mindset is the same as yours, and they want nothing but success, they want to be the best. We just click on a level like that.” Beckham went on to say he’s staying at Drake’s house while Drake finishes his new album, slated to come out later this month. “He needs to chill out with that house that he’s got out there, there’s just too much going on,” Beckham said. The Giants are scheduled to begin their offseason workout program Monday.
Is this the new thing football players do? Just shack up with their famous friends like Kato Kaelin chilling at OJ’s house? We have ODB crashing at Drake’s place while Johnny Football lives with Von Miller. Now don’t get me wrong. When you are a kid, nothing is more fun than a sleepover party. Just act like idiots all night long and stay up until 3 AM playing Madden or whatever. And if at any point during the night a parent came up to send you home, you could just fake sleep and they would probably leave you alone. I was the master at fake sleeping. Tom Hanks ain’t got shit on me in the fake sleeping game. But that is no longer really a thing after, I don’t know, either middle school or your first million dollars earned, right? The only reason you have a roommate in life is if your school forces you to or you need help paying rent/utilities. And having roommates isn’t a bad thing. Because people always being around you forces you to not act like a complete slob and makes you have some sort of standards for who you bring home from the bar. However I’m pretty sure ODB can handle his rent, ConEd bill, and has no trouble bringing home good-looking people.
But lets not overlook all the, um, rumors about ODB. I mean I love the guy and whatever he does in his private life is cool with me. But bunking up with a softer type dude like Drake is only going to make those whispers louder. Not that there’s anything wrong with it.
Then again, ODB seems like he is always going to be a different dude that us Giants fans will defend for dancing like a weirdo everywhere he goes or trying to decapitate cornerbacks on the field. So if he is going to live at a guy’s house, I guess that’s just ODB being ODB.
