Dexter Fowler, Anthony Rizzo And Travis Wood Bring Down The House With "Tearin' Up My Heart" Karaoke Performance
I don’t know if “weird” is the right word here, but don’t you find it a little bit surprising that the Cubs are the biggest ass-kicking machine in Major League Baseball, yet you could make a case that they’re the most universally liked team in the majors, assuming you’re not a Cardinals fan? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it before. The 2004 Red Sox, maybe? But even then, I don’t think that 2004 team had as much out of market appeal as this 2016 Cubs team does. People hated Curt Schilling, David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez. Who is there to hate on this Cubs team? I can’t think of one guy.
Even during spring training, before they started to unleash the pain on the National League, they were incredibly likable. I think it goes without saying, but I don’t think there will be a single baseball fan alive who won’t be rooting for this team to win a World Series once their team is out of it.
Oh, and if that bar looks familiar, that’s because Big Cat made it famous with this rendition of You Shook Me All Night Long, featuring Anthony Rizzo and Theo Epstein.
