If This Is Going To Be The Summer Of Weirdos, The New York Newspaper Headline Writers Are Ready
I know New York has always had a ton of weirdos in it. But it definitely feels like the stories have been ramped up lately. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s starting to get hot, since heat always brings the creeps out. Or if the upcoming arrival of the Barstool HQ in New York is like in Ghostbusters when ZUUL brings all the ghosts and kinetic energy with it. Does having the hottest young smut rag on the internet move to your city bump up the weirdness in the streets to a million? I think it may. But regardless, it’s comforting to know that the headline poets at the New York tabloids are clearly more than ready for the summer ahead.
And call me crazy, but I don’t think this is the last time we see the word “Diarrhea” on the cover of a New York newspaper before Labor Day. Again, just a gut instinct. But I feel like that word moves units regardless of the industry in which its used.
