This isn’t a tip, but something happened this morning that has completely derailed my productivity.  Everything I was doing at work has come to a screeching hault and I need the general consensus on an issue.
Attached is a photo of my coworkers desk – this photo was taken at 8:20am.  In that plastic sandwich bag is a cheeseburger.  A cold lifeless cheeseburger sitting next to a hot cup of coffee.  This fucking maniac is firing down a cheeseburger with his morning joe and it is wrinkling my brain.  To make matters worse, when I began my line of questioning about the burger, he doubled down and said this was his SECOND burger of the morning – the first one coming at FIVE THIRTY.  Picturing this lunatic rolling out of bed, throwing on a robe and lighting up the grill is blowing my fucking mind.  Completely up in arms about this and need confirmation that this is a total psycho move.
Aren’t there unwritten rules about what you can eat and when you can eat it?????
I’m not sure how this is going to play, I think it might be more popular than people expect, but I LOVE this move. Fuck society’s rules, man. Eat what you want, when you want. Everyone fights for the rights of the breakfast for dinner crowd but no one thinks about us, the “I’m in a mood for a burger at 9 AM” bunch. We’re silent and oppressed. We salivate in shame over pizza and chicken fingers and burgers until a time where society says it’s acceptable. Even when we wait until double digits at 10 AM, it’s still frowned upon as too early. Why must we do this? What’s so different about a burger and a sausage, egg, and cheese? You want to put an egg on my burger? Will that make it all ok by your standards, his holiness? Fine, do it. Just stop looking at me with those judgemental eyes. Lunch for brunch/breakfast crowd until I die.
