Section 10 Podcast: Did Dealin' Davey Do Enough At The Deadline For The Red Sox To Win A World Series?

Texas Rangers v Boston Red Sox

SUBSCRIBE TO THE SECTION 10 PODCAST ON ITUNES

It’s the first podcast since the MLB trade deadline went down, and we’re assessing how Dave Dombrowski did in his first deadline with the Boston Red Sox. Hold onto your dicks, because, for better or for worse, this is the team that the Red Sox will be going with down the stretch, vying for their first playoff berth since 2013 when they won a World Series title. They’re in it. There’s no doubt about that. But will they stay in it? We discuss.

Other topics include the emergence of Pretty Ricky, Rick Porcello, and how he’s become the ace of this Red Sox staff, #HanleyGate and whether or not we believe the official story that Hanley “slipped” down the stairs to hurt his wrist, the up and down emotional rollercoaster that has been this west coast road trip, and our Section 10 contest. We have four tickets to the Yankee game on August 11 at Fenway Park courtesy of SeatGeek, and we only have three asses to fill those seats. We want to bring a Section 10 listener with us, and the contest rules are there are no rules. Whatever you think will earn you a ticket, do it. Tweet us your submissions. We’re picking a winner soon.

Also, I had a heated debate with our producer, Steve, who thinks Porcello has better hair than Andrew Benintendi. Get the absolute fuck out of my face with that take. In the podcast, I instructed our listeners who disagreed with Steve’s take to tell him to go fuck himself. A lot of people disagree with Steve, and rightfully so.
