Dinesh From Silicon Valley Tweeted Out A Piping Hot Take About Why Harambe Memes Are So Popular
Ohhhh so THAT’S why all these Harambe memes keep coming out. It has nothing to do with the ridiculousness of an entire country losing their mind over a gorilla that admittedly had an absolutely incredible name getting killed. Or that people like whipping their dicks out for a cause. Or that predicting what the internet will make memes about is like predicting the stock market. I mean the three biggest memes before Harambe were a picture Michael Jordan crying at his Hall of Fame press conference 5 years ago, a supporting character from Spongebob getting into a pickle, and Arthur. FUCKING ARTHUR! A motherfucking show on PBS that you only watched if you were stuck at your grandma’s without cable and needed to scratch your cartoon itch.
So are we just going to say that everything on the internet is racist now? It’s like the joke about every time you go on WebMD you end up diagnosing yourself with cancer. I’ve heard them all. Crying Jordan = America wants to see the greatest black athlete in decades weak. Arthur’s brown fist = Angry black stereotypes. And now Harambe memes are apparently racist according to an actor who is the butt of a million race-inspired jokes from Gilfoyle. Shut the fuck up, Dinesh.
And for those that want to keep Harambe’s memory alive during this kick back from the haterz, buy a shirt. 1 purchase = 1 prayer to Harambe. It may not bring him back to life, but maybe it will get him a nice recliner in heaven or something.
