TLRIn a new video shared on Facebook by I, Hypocrite and on YouTube by Lauren Southern, a social justice warrior takes aim at her Lyft driver for his Hula Doll. The complaining party, Annaliese Nielsen, is the founder of “Girls Night In,” a secretive online community of women.

The clip begins with Nielsen complaining of the “pillaging of the continent of Hawaii.” She then chastises the driver for purchasing the doll at Goodwill and displaying it on his dashboard. After several minutes of back-and-forth, the other passenger states that Nielsen’s reaction is “pretty pathetic” before the driver finally tells Nielsen that she must get out of his car and find another driver. Humorously, Nielsen threatens to expose her driver’s insensitivity on the now-defunct website Gawker.

First of all, pour one out, you guys.

Secondly…this is a parody right? I mean I did some research on this Annaliese Nielsen chick – seems like kind of a feminist loose cannon. Definitely wouldn’t put it past her to stage something like this, watch bloggers like me jump all over it, then use that as her new thesis on how the Privileged Male takes so much joy in tearing down women. Like I just can’t shake the feeling that I’m part of some social experiment right now. People in real life can’t actually act like this? They can’t curse out a relatively friendly Lyft driver for 8 minutes about the hula girl on their dashboard talking about how it appropriates Hawaiian culture and represents the pillaging of the entire state of Hawaii??

Wait, excuse me, continent. The continent of Hawaii.

Just don’t buy it. Internet Bullshit Spidey Sense is out in full force right now, but maybe that’s just because my mind just doesn’t want to believe this is real.
