Dansby Swanson Leaves Braves Game With "Groin Contusion" After His Own Catcher Threw A Baseball At His Dick

Dansby Swanson had to come out of the game last night after a return toss from catcher Tyler Flowers hit Swanson right in the balls. Tough play. Head on a swivel, even when the game’s not actively being played. You just never know. Women will never know this pain, and I can’t even put it into words, other than I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. But besides crushing testicles, Swanson has also been crushing baseballs since being called up on August 17 from Double-A. Since arriving at the big league level for the Atlanta Braves, Swanson is hitting .301 with a .770 OPS, which is a hell of a lot more than I expected him to do at the major league level, especially this early on.
I’m obviously basing that off the fact that he was a .261 hitter with a .745 OPS at Double-A, and he skipped Triple-A entirely, so that right there would lead anyone to believe that he probably wasn’t going to have a ton of success at the major league level early on, at least offensively, but he’s definitely proving that theory wrong, and perhaps overachieving a bit to start his big league career. Either way, the Braves are a game over .500 at 11-10 in the games he’s played in, which doesn’t seem all that great, but throw in the fact that they had the worst record in the MLB when he got there (44-75), and that’s actually pretty impressive.
